A New Shed For Metal Work !!
A big thank you to Kevin and Kath from Bassendean who have kindly donated a 6x8m steel shed to us.
A demolition team went into action, dismantled the structure and bought the shed home.
We are planning to use the new addition for metal work activities. Funding for 3 phase power, necessary for welding activities is a main cost factor holding things up..
We are seeking sponsors to help us with this project.

Simple Pleasures Happen Here
Holidaying in New South Wales, Bill Johnstone had a chance encounter with a men's community shed in Nambucca. He was struck by the potential a community shed might have in his own home town, the historic port town of Fremantle, Western Australia -- particularly as Fremantle's property boom has squeezed out many a backyard workshop.
Two years later, the Fremantle Men's Community Shed measures its success by an ever-increasing membership of guys who take pride in sharing their skills and passing them on to the wider Fremantle community.

All good sheds need a good “chuck out” once in a while and the Fremantle Men’s Shed is no exception.
Not only will the Freo Men's Shed be selling off all their surplus tools and machinery, hardware etc. They are inviting community to join them to make Fremantle’s first
So! Clear out your shed, kitchen cupboards, teenager’s bedroom, car or what ever.
Gather up all that unused stuff, pile it into the back of the car and get on down to the

The morning promises to be a great family trip out with Live music, sausage sizzle, tea, coffee, cools drinks and kids activities…….
And of course the opportunity to either turn your unwanted stuff into cash or grab a bunch of bargains.
